Nerium oleander tree

Height: 1,2–1,5 m

Oleander is an evergreen shrub of Mediterranean origin that loves heat and sun and is most often grown in pots in our region. The trunk height is 1.2-1.4 m. With its dense, upright branch system and elongated, lance-shaped leaves, it is decorative all year round, becoming a true ornament for a terrace or a sunny part of the garden. Its dark red flowers bloom in summer, from June to September. For it to bloom properly, choose a sunny, warm, wind-sheltered spot. It prefers well-drained, moist soil rich in nutrients. During the flowering period it should be fed regularly. It is frost-sensitive, so it must be protected. An important part of its care is regular pruning, which encourages bushiness and abundant flowering the following year.
